About Me

Hi! My name is Lyssie Gomez and I'm a twenty-something UC Irvine student (rip 'em, 'Eaters! zot, zot, zot!), pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Media Studies. I'm also going to be a senior, whoohoo!!

There isn't anything particularly interesting about me, so you are probably asking yourself why I'm even trying to maintain a blog. Simple: I am a sinner who has been saved entirely by grace through faith in the only God and Savior, Jesus Christ. And it is my prayer and hope that through this blog and what I share about my life, you might also come to see His faithfulness in your own life and hopefully realize His reality. I pray that you may also come to know the forgiveness of God through Jesus Christ and His perfect love. :)
"But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it -- the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus." [Romans 3:21-26]
